Contemporary Womens Portraiture - Caroline Childe

Thanks so much to Khalile and Tamsyn Siddiqui for my photo shoot. It was such fun. I have had photo shoots before for publicity photographs but had found them too formal and I felt that, although they were nice pictures, they didn't really capture me. This is where Khalile and Tamsyn are different, really taking time beforehand finding out what I wanted for my look and for the photos. I was going to wear evening gowns for the shoot so Tamsyn decided to match my make up to the dresses and we went for a dramatic evening look with smokey eyes and red lips, Tamsyns make up artistry is amazing, I felt and looked glamorous and lovely without feeling too 'dolled up'. Time for the photos! There is something quite nerve wracking about posing for photos, trying to make sure you look ok. Khalile soon made me feel completely relaxed, as we chatted and laughed together he took photos without me feeling like I was posing and I think the pictures show that, I look natural and most importantly I look like myself. Khalile's beautiful shots are full of drama and energy, exactly what I wanted, both for my work and for myself personally! I really enjoyed the afternoon we spent doing the lifestyle shoot, and completely love the photos. Thanks again.
