Pendennis Castle Wedding - Sarah & Shaun
Share on Facebook Share on Twitter
21st June, 2016Not only do Khalile and Tamsyn have a massive amount of passion and pride in their work they are both such lovely people who genuinely care about you as a couple!
After saying hello briefly to the boys I headed to Sarah's parents where the girls were helping Sarah into her County Cream dress
Sarah arrived at Pendennis Castle in a Strawberry Leisure Vintage split screen VW camper van (whilst Shaun got the fruity F Type Jaguar!)
It was a charming ceremony lit by the amber glow of the subtle lighting within the ceremony room
Despite the lousy weather the day before and the day after, we were treated to a glorious summer solstice wedding making the battlements a wonderful place to sink a few drinks and celebrate with friends.
When the drinks started to get a tad low we took Sarah & Shaun upstairs for a couple of photos while the spirited ushers did their job getting the guests out to the front of the castle.
By the time we came down everyone was in place for a confetti arch and a group shot of everyone.
On leaving the castle Sarah requested if we could get some photos with Gyllyngvase beach in the background, and understandably Shaun hoped to get the car in the shots somehow
While we were there it seemed a shame not to get a bit closer to the sea
On arrival to the Absolute Canvas marque at Restronguet Barton just fifteen minutes from Pendennis Castle, Jamie of Beetham Food and his team were passing out their exceptionally tasty canapés to the playful guests while we created the last of the group photos.
I'm told Sarah planned pretty much all of the wedding but Shaun did actually make their own LOVE light and also a 6 foot 'S&S' to decorate the marquee.
In the evening Sarah and Shaun had a mix of evening entertainment from a funk band called Skin Tight and also the best wedding (CLUB) DJ I've ever had the fortune to hear play at a wedding. This was the third time I've heard Martin Cee of DeluxX out and his mix of tunes really was something special.
It really was an evening of shenanigans most of which I daren't put online but I'm sure they all add up to some amazing memories for Sarah & Shaun
Dearest Sarah & Shaun, your wedding was everything I knew it would be and Tamsyn and I wish you a long and happy life together! And if you're reading this and planning your own wedding please do make an enquiry.
