30th August, 2015Thank you both so much again for yesterday. You did an amazing job, beyond what you should have done and we were so grateful to have you guide us through the day. Cannot wait to see the photos. Thank you so much again, Mr and Mrs Thomas x
Jade and Shane came to us about covering their Tregenna Castle wedding after receiving a recommendation from a friend earlier this year. After meeting them a few times on the run up to their wedding, we really got to know Jade and Shane and I have to say I was really looking forward to their big day! But after seeing the weather forecast for the day for about a week and a half before the wedding it continually said heavy rain. And as I woke in the morning, true the the weatherman's word it was pouring down, but as I said to Shane later that day, I still had every faith that we'd still have luck with the weather, as there was no way that such a lovely and giving couple would have a wet wedding, as after all 'the sun shines on the righteous!' and was I right in holding out my faith?..... Oh YES!
On arrival to the hotel Tams headed up to see Jade for Makeup, while I met with Shane and the boys. The plan was to get a few shots in the hotel and then utilise Jade's Dad's bright orange Chevy Pickup.
This was our third wedding in a week that we shared with Anna of Wedding Flowers In Cornwall, so after saying a quick hello while she was hard at work I headed up to Jade and the girls. On arrival I got to see Jade's Amanda K Bridal wedding dress, and as always, it was beautiful!
Jade was telling me how un-inspired she was with the norm wedding prezzies for pageboys and flower girls, and then she discovered a website where you could taylor books for the children and one of the little fella's came running up to me to show me his book "The Amazing Marlon the pageboy" he was tickled pink!
After the wedding breakfast I whisked Jade and Shane down to Porthminster Beach in our Mercedes MPV.
On return to the hotel, Jade went off with Tamsyn to have her Makeup redone while I went to say hi to Kaj who was performing and supplying the soundtrack to the evening, and I also ran into the Crazy Little Booths people who we met at a wedding we did up in Plymouth, and I have to say, they probably have the best range of props I've seen around on the photo booth front.
Bless them, the bridesmaids and pageboys decided to make a stall using whatever they could find around the hotel, they even started going through their parents rooms to see what they could sell!
Dearest Jade and Shane, have yourselves an awesome honeymoon and an amazing life!!!
Lots of love
K&T xx
